New Zealand Announces Marijuana Referendum Details

Recently, the government announced the details of the cannabis referendum. Discussion topics will include:

1. Should the holding and use of marijuana be legalized?

2. Should there be a regulated market in New Zealand that regulates the cultivation, production and sale of cannabis?

3. Can New Zealanders aged 18 and over plant up to 6 cannabis for home use?

The government hopes that all residents can fully discuss this issue. It is expected that the relevant issues will be voted on in the 2020 election.
